घेरण्ड उवाच । स्थूलं ज्योतिस्तथा सूक्ष्मं ध्यानस्य त्रिविधं विदुः । स्थूलं मूर्तिमयं प्रोक्तं ज्योतिस्तेजोमयं तथा । सूक्ष्मं बिन्दुमयं ब्रह्म कुण्डलीपरदेवता ॥६-१॥

There are three types of meditation: - gross meditation, light meditation and micro meditation. Among these, gross meditation is done on an idol or solid object, Jyoti meditation is done on light or radiance and meditation done on something beyond Kundalini i.e. Bindumay Brahma is subtle meditation.

अथ स्थूलध्यानम् । स्वकीयहृदये ध्यायेत्सुधासागरमुत्तमम् । तन्मध्ये रत्नद्वीपं तु सुरत्नवालुकामयम् ॥६-२॥

While meditating on the beautiful ocean of nectar in your heart region, you should meditate on the sandy island full of gems in the middle of it.

atha sthUladhyAnam | svakIyahRdaye dhyAyetsudhAsAgaramuttamam | tanmadhye ratnadvIpaM tu suratnavAlukAmayam ||6-2||

चतुर्दिक्षु नीपतरुं बहुपुष्पसमन्वितम् । नीपोपवनसङ्कुलैर्वेष्टितं परिखा इव ॥६-३॥

sanskrit

There should be Neem trees all around it, i.e. laden with lots of fruits and those Neem gardens should appear like a moat around it.

मालतीमल्लिकाजातीकेसरैश्चम्पकैस्तथा । पारिजातैः स्थलपद्मैर्गन्धामोदितदिङ्मुखैः ॥६-४॥

The fragrance of the flowers of Malti, Mallika, Jasmine, Kesar, Champa, Sthal Kamal and Harshringar are filling all directions.

तन्मध्ये संस्मरेद्योगी कल्पवृक्षं मनोहरम् । चतुःशाखाचतुर्वेदं नित्यपुष्पफलान्वितम् ॥६-५॥

In the midst of all this, the yogi should remember or meditate on a very beautiful Kalpavriksha. From whose many branches the fruits of knowledge in the form of four Vedas are continuously bearing fruit (increasing every day).
