कच्चिद्दर्शयसे नित्यं मनुष्याणां विभूषितम् । उत्थायोत्थाय पूर्वाह्णे राजपुत्र महापथे ॥ २-१००-५१
Oh ! prince, I trust, you rise early daily and present yourself well adorned to the people on the thoroughfare. ॥ 2-100-51॥
english translation
kacciddarzayase nityaM manuSyANAM vibhUSitam । utthAyotthAya pUrvAhNe rAjaputra mahApathe ॥ 2-100-51
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकच्चिन्न सर्वे कर्मान्ताः प्रत्यक्षास्तेऽविशङ्कया । सर्वे वा पुनरुत्सृष्टा मध्यमेवात्र कारणम् ॥ २-१००-५२
All the servants, I trust, do not present themselves to you directly. At the same time they do not remain out of sight with fear at a distance. The middle course is the best way for the welfare of every one. ॥ 2-100-52॥

kaccinna sarve karmAntAH pratyakSAste'vizaGkayA । sarve vA punarutsRSTA madhyamevAtra kAraNam ॥ 2-100-52
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकच्चित्सर्वाणि दुर्गाणि धनधान्यायुधोदकैः । यन्त्रैश्च परिपूर्णानि तथा शिल्पिधनुर्धरैः ॥ २-१००-५३
Hope all the forts are adequately provided with wealth, foodgrains, weapons and water, with machines of war and craftsmen and archers. ॥ 2-100-53॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptआयस्ते विपुलः कच्चित्कच्चिदल्पतरो व्ययः । अपात्रेषु न ते कच्चित्कोशो गच्छति राघव ॥ २-१००-५४
Oh ! Bharata, I trust, your revenues are abundant and expenditure much less. I trust you do not give away your treasure to undeserving persons. ॥ 2-100-54॥

Ayaste vipulaH kaccitkaccidalpataro vyayaH । apAtreSu na te kaccitkozo gacchati rAghava ॥ 2-100-54
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवतार्थे च पित्रर्थेब्राह्मणाभ्यागतेषु च । योधेषु मित्रवर्गेषु कच्चिद्गच्छति ते व्ययः ॥ २-१००-५५
I trust, you are spending only on gods, ancestors, brahmins, guests, warriors and hosts of friends. ॥ 2-100-55॥
