आकाशं शस्त्रसङ्काशमभवत्काञ्चनप्रभम् । जातरूपमयैः शृङ्गैर्भ्राजमानैः स्वयंप्रभैः ॥ ५-१-१०६
- the sky which had a bluish tinge like that of a sword, shone with a golden hue. With self-effulgent golden peaks shining . - ॥ 5-1-106॥
english translation
AkAzaM zastrasaGkAzamabhavatkAJcanaprabham । jAtarUpamayaiH zRGgairbhrAjamAnaiH svayaMprabhaiH ॥ 5-1-106
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआदित्यशतसङ्काशः सोऽभवद्गिरिसत्तमः । तमुत्थितमसङ्गेन हनुमानग्रतः स्थितम् ॥ ५-१-१०७
- the noble mountain, Mainaka was glittering like a thousand Suns. Hanuman on seeing the mountain which stood before Him, suddenly . - ॥ 5-1-107॥
english translation
AdityazatasaGkAzaH so'bhavadgirisattamaH । tamutthitamasaGgena hanumAnagrataH sthitam ॥ 5-1-107
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमध्ये लवणतोयस्य विघ्नोऽयमिति निश्चितः । स तमुच्छ्र्रतमत्यर्थं महावेगो महाकपिः ॥ ५-१-१०८
- rising up from the middle of the salty ocean, decided that it as an obstacle. The mountain that had risen high instantly, by the great vanara, who was swift in action . - ॥ 5-1-108॥
english translation
madhye lavaNatoyasya vighno'yamiti nizcitaH । sa tamucchrratamatyarthaM mahAvego mahAkapiH ॥ 5-1-108
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउरसा पातयामास जीमूतमिव मारुतः । स तथा पातितस्तेन कपिना पर्वतोत्तमः ॥ ५-१-१०९
- felled down with his chest just as the wind would strike a cloud. That best among mountains (Mainaka), thus being fell down by the vanara (Hanumana) . - ॥ 5-1-109॥

urasA pAtayAmAsa jImUtamiva mArutaH । sa tathA pAtitastena kapinA parvatottamaH ॥ 5-1-109
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबुद्ध्वा तस्य कपेर्वेगं जहर्ष च ननन्द च । तमाकाशगतं वीरमाकाशे समुपस्थितः ॥ ५-१-११०
- and after recognising vanara's (Hanuman's) speed overwhelmed with joy roared in high pitch. To the hero (Hanuman) gone to the aerial region, approaching in the sky . - ॥ 5-1-110॥
english translation
buddhvA tasya kapervegaM jaharSa ca nananda ca । tamAkAzagataM vIramAkAze samupasthitaH ॥ 5-1-110
