व्यभिचारात् तु भर्तुः स्त्री लोके प्राप्नोति निन्द्यताम् । सृगालयोनिं चाप्नोति पापरोगैश्च पीड्यते ॥ ३० ॥

sanskrit

But for disloyalty to her husband a wife is censured among men, and (in her next life) she is born in the womb of a jackal and tormented by diseases, the punishment of her sin.

english translation

vyabhicArAt tu bhartuH strI loke prApnoti nindyatAm | sRgAlayoniM cApnoti pAparogaizca pIDyate || 30 ||
