यथोक्तेन नयन्तस्ते पूयन्ते सत्यसाक्षिणः । विपरीतं नयन्तस्तु दाप्याः स्युर्द्विशतं दमम् ॥ २५७ ॥

sanskrit

If they determine (the boundary) in the manner stated, they are guiltless (being) veracious witnesses; but if they determine it unjustly, they shall be compelled to pay a fine of two hundred (panas).

english translation

yathoktena nayantaste pUyante satyasAkSiNaH | viparItaM nayantastu dApyAH syurdvizataM damam || 257 ||
