1. 81

    स च देवर्षिभिर्दिष्टः पिता मम महाकपिः | तीर्थे नदीपतेः पुण्ये शम्बसादनमुद्धरत् || ५-३५-८१

    'He (Kesari) is said to be my father by the divine sages. He retrieved a piece of land in a holy spot of that sea shore and killed Sambasadana, a demon who was oppressing righteous people. [5-35-81]

  2. 82

    तस्याहं हरिणः क्षेत्रे जातो वातेन मैथिलि | हनुमानिति विख्यातो लोके स्वेनैव कर्मणा || ५-३५-८२

    'O Mythili I was born in that land retrieved by the Windgod. I am known as Hanuman by virtue of my own action. [5-35-82]

  3. 83

    विश्वासार्थं तु वैदेहि भर्तुरुक्ता मया गुणाः | अचिराद्राघवो देवि त्वामितो नयिताऽनघे || ५-३५-८३

    'In order to inspire confidence in you about me I have narrated the virtues of your husband. O sinless queen Rama will take you from here very soon.' [5-35-83]

  4. 84

    एवं विश्वासिता सीता हेतुभिश्शोककर्शिता | उपपन्नैरभिज्ञानैर्दूतं तमवगच्छति || ५-३५-८४

    The grief stricken Sita trusted him by his logical presentation of reasons as well as identifications. She believed that he was a messenger (of Rama). [5-35-84]

  5. 85

    अतुलं च गता हर्षं प्रहर्षेण च जानकी | नेत्राभ्यां वक्रपक्ष्माभ्यां मुमोचानन्दजं जलम् || ५-३५-८५

    Janaki experienced immeasurable happiness and shed tears of joy through her curved eyes. [5-35-85]
