एतद्वै पौरुषं रूपं भूः पादौ द्यौः शिरो नभः । नाभिः सूर्योऽक्षिणी नासे वायुः कर्णौ दिशः प्रभोः ।। १२-११-६ ।।

sanskrit

This is the representation of the Supreme Lord as the universal person, in which the earth is His feet, the sky His navel, the sun His eyes, the wind His nostrils, the demigod of procreation His genitals, death His anus and the moon His mind. ।। 12-11-6 ।।

english translation

यह सार्वभौमिक व्यक्ति के रूप में सर्वोच्च भगवान का प्रतिनिधित्व है, जिसमें पृथ्वी उनके पैर हैं, आकाश उनकी नाभि है, सूर्य उनकी आंखें हैं, हवा उनकी नासिका हैं, प्रजनन के देवता उनकी जननांग हैं, मृत्यु उनकी गुदा है और चंद्रमा उनका है। दिमाग। ।। १२-११-६ ।।

sanskrit

The heavenly planets are His head, the directions His ears, and the demigods protecting the various planets His many arms. ।। 12-11-7 ।।

english translation

स्वर्गीय ग्रह उनके सिर हैं, दिशाएँ उनके कान हैं, और देवता विभिन्न ग्रहों की रक्षा करने वाले उनकी कई भुजाएँ हैं। ।। १२-११-७ ।।

लज्जोत्तरोऽधरो लोभो दन्ता ज्योत्स्ना स्मयो भ्रमः । रोमाणि भूरुहा भूम्नो मेघाः पुरुषमूर्धजाः ।। १२-११-८ ।।

The god of death is His eyebrows, shame His lower lip, greed His upper lip, delusion His smile, and moonshine His teeth, while the trees are the almighty Puruṣa’s bodily hairs, and the clouds the hair on His head. ।। 12-11-8 ।।

english translation

मृत्यु के देवता उनकी भौहें हैं, शर्म उनके निचले होंठ हैं, लालच उनके ऊपरी होंठ हैं, भ्रम उनकी मुस्कान है, और चांदनी उनके दांत हैं, जबकि पेड़ सर्वशक्तिमान पुरुष के शारीरिक बाल हैं, और बादल उनके सिर के बाल हैं। ।। १२-११-८ ।।

यावानयं वै पुरुषो यावत्या संस्थया मितः । तावानसावपि महापुरुषो लोकसंस्थया ।। १२-११-९ ।।

sanskrit

Just as one can determine the dimensions of an ordinary person of this world by measuring his various limbs, one can determine the dimensions of the Mahāpuruṣa by measuring the arrangement of the planetary systems within His universal form. ।। 12-11-9 ।।

english translation

जिस तरह कोई इस दुनिया के एक सामान्य व्यक्ति के विभिन्न अंगों को मापकर उसके आयामों को निर्धारित कर सकता है, उसी तरह कोई महापुरुष के आयामों को उसके सार्वभौमिक रूप के भीतर ग्रह प्रणालियों की व्यवस्था को मापकर निर्धारित कर सकता है। ।। १२-११-९ ।।

कौस्तुभव्यपदेशेन स्वात्मज्योतिर्बिभर्त्यजः । तत्प्रभा व्यापिनी साक्षाच्छ्रीवत्समुरसा विभुः ।। १२-११-१० ।।

Upon His chest the almighty, unborn Personality of Godhead bears the Kaustubha gem, which represents the pure spirit soul, along with the Śrīvatsa mark, which is the direct manifestation of this gem’s expansive effulgence. ।। 12-11-10 ।।

english translation

सर्वशक्तिमान, अजन्मे भगवान के सीने पर कौस्तुभ रत्न है, जो श्रीवत्स चिह्न के साथ शुद्ध आत्मा का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है, जो इस रत्न के विशाल तेज का प्रत्यक्ष प्रकटीकरण है। ।। १२-११-१० ।।
