जम्बुमालीरथस्थस्तुरथशक्त्यामहाबलः । बिबेदसमरेक्रुद्धोहनूमन्तंस्तनान्तरे ॥ ६-४३-२१

तस्यतंरथमास्थायहनूमान् मारुतात्मजः । प्रममाथतलेनाशुसहतेनैवरक्षसा ॥ ६-४३-२२
Hanuman the son of wind god, getting on to the chariot quickly destroyed that Rakshasa Jambumali with his palm. [6-43-22]

नदन् प्रतपनोघोरोनलंसोप्यन्वधावत । नलःप्रतपनस्याशुपातयामासचक्षुषी ॥ ६-४३-२३
Dreadful Pratapan roared and jumped over Nala. Nala in turn gouged out the eyes of Pratapan . - [6-43-23]

भिन्नगात्रश्शरैस्तीक्ष्णैःक्षिप्रहस्तेनरक्षसा । ग्रसन्तमिवसैन्यानिप्रघसंवानराधिपः । सुग्रीवस्सप्तपर्णेननिर्भिभेदजघानच ॥ ६-४३-२४

प्रपीड्य शार वर्षेण राक्षसम् भीम दर्शानम् । निजघान विरूप अक्षम् शारेण एकेन लक्ष्मणः ॥ ६-४३-२५
Lakshmana with a terrific look, having tormented Virupaksha the demon with a shower of arrows, finally killed him with an arrow. [6-43-25]
