सम्पीड्यचधनुर्घोरंकम्पयित्वाशरैर्जगत् । मुमोचविशिखानुग्रान्वज्रानिवशतक्रतुः ॥ ६-२१-२६
Bending the terrific bow, he released frightful arrows like Indra (who released thunderbolts) who performed a hundred sacrifices. ॥ 6-21-26॥

Glowing in brilliance like flame, the arrows of the best among the arrows pierced like snakes into the water of the ocean. ॥ 6-21-27॥

Those snakes with blazing hoods and glowing eyes residing in the underworld and the demons became oppressed. ॥ 6-21-30॥
