जीवपुत्रे निवर्तस्व पुत्रं रक्षस्व चाङ्गदम् । अन्तको रामरूपेण हत्वा नयति वालिनम् ॥ ४-१९-११
- 'O mother, your son is still alive. Go back and protect your son Angada. Lord of death in the form of Rama has come and killed Vali and is carrying him away. ॥ 4-19-11॥
english translation
jIvaputre nivartasva putraM rakSasva cAGgadam । antako rAmarUpeNa hatvA nayati vAlinam ॥ 4-19-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्षिप्तान् वृक्षान्समाविध्य विपुलाश्च शिलास्तथा । वाली वज्रसमैर्बाणै रामेण विनिपातितः ॥ ४-१९-१२
'Rama smashed the trees and stones Vali hurled at him and then struck him down with thunderbolt like arrows. ॥ 4-19-12॥

kSiptAn vRkSAnsamAvidhya vipulAzca zilAstathA । vAlI vajrasamairbANai rAmeNa vinipAtitaH ॥ 4-19-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअभिद्रुतमिदं सर्वं विद्रुतं प्रसृतं बलम् । अस्मिन् प्लवगशार्दूले हते शक्रसमप्रभे ॥ ४-१९-१३
'When Vali who was equal to Indra in strength, a tiger among monkeys, was killed, the army of monkeys got terrified and ran away here and there, scattered in different directions. ॥ 4-19-13॥

abhidrutamidaM sarvaM vidrutaM prasRtaM balam । asmin plavagazArdUle hate zakrasamaprabhe ॥ 4-19-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरक्ष्यतां नगरद्वारमङ्गदश्चाभिषिच्यताम् । पदस्थं वालिनः पुत्रं भजिष्यन्ति प्लवङ्गमाः ॥ ४-१९-१४
'Let the gate of the city be shut and Vali's son be consecrated as king. All the monkeys will serve him when he assumes power. ॥ 4-19-14॥

rakSyatAM nagaradvAramaGgadazcAbhiSicyatAm । padasthaM vAlinaH putraM bhajiSyanti plavaGgamAH ॥ 4-19-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथवाऽरुचितं स्थानमिह ते रुचिरानने । आविशन्ति हि दुर्गाणि क्षिप्रमन्यानि वानराः ॥ ४-१९-१५
'O lovely Tara, your staying here is not good, this very day other monkeys will soon occupy our citadels. ॥ 4-19-15॥

athavA'rucitaM sthAnamiha te rucirAnane । Avizanti hi durgANi kSipramanyAni vAnarAH ॥ 4-19-15
