    सुग्रीवेणैवमुक्तस्तु हृष्टो दधिमुखः कपिः | राघवं लक्ष्मणं चैव सुग्रीवं चाभ्यवादयत् || ५-६४-१

    Pleased with Sugriva's command (to send forth Angada and Hanuman) Dadhimukha offered salutations to Sugriva, Rama and Lakshmana. [5-64-1]

    स प्रणम्य च सुग्रीवं राघवौ च महाबलौ | वानरैः सहितः शूरैर्दिवमेवोत्पपात ह || ५-६४-२

    Dadhimukha offered his obeisance to Sugriva and the mighty Rama and Lakshmana and rose up to the sky followed by the vanaras. [5-64-2]

    स यथैवाऽगतः पूर्वं तथैव त्वरितं गतः | निपत्य गगनाद्भूमौतद्वनं प्रविवेश ह || ५-६४-३

    Departing with the same speed by which he had come, he descended from the sky and, alighting on the earth, entered the Madhuvana. [5-64-3]

    स प्रविष्टो मधुवनं ददर्श हरियूथपान् | विमदानुत्थितान्सर्वान् मेहमानान्मधूदकम् || ५-६४-४

    Descending into Madhuvanam, Dadhimukha saw all the monkey troops free from intoxication (of honey wine). [5-64-4]

    स तानुपागमद्वीरो बद्ध्वा करपुटाञ्जलिम् | उवाच वचनं श्लक्ष्णमिदं हृष्टवदङ्गदम् || ५-६४-५
