1. 11

    दिव्यमाल्याम्बरधरं दिव्यगन्धानुलेपनम् । सर्वाश्चर्यमयं देवमनन्तं विश्वतोमुखम् ॥ ११-११॥

    Wearing divine garlands and apparel, anointed with celestial scents, abounding in all kinds of wonder, resplendent, infinite, and with faces everywhere.

    दिवि सूर्यसहस्रस्य भवेद्युगपदुत्थिता । यदि भाः सदृशी सा स्याद्भासस्तस्य महात्मनः ॥ ११-१२॥

    If a thousand suns were to rise at once in the sky, the resulting splendor may be like the splendor of that mighty One.

    तत्रैकस्थं जगत्कृत्स्नं प्रविभक्तमनेकधा । अपश्यद्देवदेवस्य शरीरे पाण्डवस्तदा ॥ ११-१३॥

    At that time, son of Pandu ( Arjuna ) saw there, in the body of the God of gods ( Shri Krishna ), the whole diversely differentiated Universe united in the one (Cosmic form).

    ततः स विस्मयाविष्टो हृष्टरोमा धनञ्जयः । प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं कृताञ्जलिरभाषत ॥ ११-१४॥

    Then, Dhananjaya, (Arjuna), overcome with amazement, and with his hair standing on end, bowed down his head to Shri Bhagwan and spoke with joined palms.

    अर्जुन उवाच । पश्यामि देवांस्तव देव देहे सर्वांस्तथा भूतविशेषसङ्घान् । ब्रह्माणमीशं कमलासनस्थ- मृषींश्च सर्वानुरगांश्च दिव्यान् ॥ ११-१५॥

    Arjuna said O Dev ( Shri Krishna ), I see in Your body all the gods as also hosts of (various) classes of beings; Brahma the ruler, sitting on a lotus seat, and all the heavely sages and serpents.
