    प्रविवेश महाबाहुरनुज्ञातो महर्षिणा | वेश्म तद् रत्नसम्पूर्णं भरतः कैकयीसुतः || २-९१-३६

    Longarmed Bharata, son of Kaikeyi entered that palace full of jewels with the permission of the great sage. [2-91-36]

    अनुजग्मुश्च तं सर्वे मन्त्रिणः सपुरोहिताः | बभूवुश्च मुदा युक्ता दृष्ट्वा तं वेश्मसंविधिम् || २-९१-३७

    All the ministers, priests followed him and were glad to see the arrangement in that mansion. [2-91-37]

    तत्र राजासनं दिव्यं व्यजनं छत्रमेव च | भरतो मन्त्रिभिः सार्धमभ्यवर्तत राजवत् || २-९१-३८

    There where stood an exquisite throne, a fan and a parasol Bharata stayed in the company of ministers. [2-91-38]

    आसनं पूजयामास रामायाभिप्रणम्य च | वालव्यजनमादाय न्यषीदत् सचिवासने || २-९१-३९

    He bowed in reverence and worshipped the throne (as though Rama were seated there). Taking hold of a fan made of yak's tail he sat in a minister's seat. [2-91-39]

  5. 40

    आनुपूर्व्यान्निषेदुश्च सर्वे मन्त्रिपुरोहिताः | ततस्सेनापतिः पश्चात्प्रशास्ताच निषेदतुः || २-९१-४०

    First the ministers and priests took their respective seats in accordance with their rank, and then the army chief and finally the supervisor of the camp. [2-91-40]
